Make
sure everybody knows WHEN and WHERE
the carnival will be by advertising. Here are some ideas:
Posters. Make colorful signs that tell
people about your carnival. Click

. Tell the date, time, location and all the things you’ll
have: “Games! Prizes! Food! Entertainment! Silent
Auction! etc.” The more posters you put up on
telephone poles, at school and at nearby businesses,
the better.
Word of mouth. Tell all your friends
and their parents. Go through the neighborhood letting
people know the carnival is about to begin.
Fliers. Hand out information about
your carnival to everyone you know. Click

Be sure to include the date, time, location and what
kinds of things you’ll have at your carnival.
Newspapers and newsletters. Your local
newspaper, or church or school newsletter may run a free
announcement about your carnival. Be sure to include the
day, time, address and that the carnival is to benefit
MDA.
